How Hackers Steal ATM ID [ ATM Scam ]

An automated teller machine (ATM), also known as a automated banking machine (ABM) orCash Machine


On ATM's the customer is identify by inserting one plastic ATM card with Magnetic Strip on its one side . It contains the Customers Unique card number and some Security Info like expiry date or CVVC 


We all Must Be using ATM's in our day to day Transactions . But Friends be Alert !! ATMs can be used to steal all your account information including money, its very easy to do an online transaction, with an ATM if one is able to know ATM card no., expiry date and 4 digit PIN code.


University of Texas at Austin (Police Department) has posted one ATM Scam alert, which I would like to share with you…


The equipment used to capture your ATM card number and PIN is cleverly disguised to look like normal ATM equipment. A “skimmer” is mounted to the front of the normal ATM card slot that reads the ATM card number and transmits it to the criminals sitting in a nearby car . At the same time, a wireless camera is disguised to look like a leaflet holder and is mounted in a position to view ATM PIN entries.


The thieves copy the cards and use the PIN numbers to withdraw thousands from many accounts in a very short time directly from the bank ATM

How To Find Someone's IP ( Internet Protocol ) Address

An IP ( Internet Protocol ) Address is a numerical label or you can say identification assign to each device like computer , printer etc . . Now what we have to do is to find IP address of Victim . Finding IP address is like finding their Phone Number.

Using MSN Messenger :

1) Open the MSN Messenger and start chatting with the person whose IP you wants to know

2) Next Click “Start” on your computer

3) Go To "Run"

4) Go to Command Prompt . Type in “cmd” or “command.” Press “Enter” on your keyboard

5) Then type “netstat” into the Command prompt Screen.

6) After Pressing "Enter" the IP address of the Person you are chatting with will come up !

Using Aim :

1) Chat with the person on AIM and open a direct connection.

2) Then click “Start” on your computer.

3) Click “Run” box.

4) Type in “cmd” or “command.” Press “Enter” on your keyboard.

5) Type “netstat” into the Command Screen.

6) Look for Port 4443 which is AIM default direct connection. The IP address of the person you are chatting with will come up. If 4443 doesn’t come up, look for a port with a similar number
